Responsible for pre-planning, kicking off, and managing a portion of the new gravel roads and pads associated with the new Nanushuk Project on the North Slope of Alaska. Scope under my supervision includes moving over 1 million CY of material in the 2019 winter construction season.

Responsible for all RFP development and associated scope, schedule, and budget for all BP Alaska off-slope fabrication projects.Led GPB Project Construction's effort to provide early constructability reviews and feedback for projects in Appraise and Select stages. Liaison between the Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, Operations, Construction, Commissioning and others to ensure that construction sequences and priorities are understood, project execution constraints are highlighted and acted upon, efficient construction methods are deployed in project designs and execution plans, material site need dates identified and adequately reflected in the project delivery schedule.

Managed operational contracts/MSA's and negotiated with the client to reduce risk/exposure on projects. Participated in proposal development and managed client contract negotiations. Ensured the Project Management team was capable and engaged in the development of budgets and schedules that support project deliverables which met CH2M operational as well as client contract requirements. Developed and presented Quarterly Performance Reports to our clients. Analyzed and evaluated project status and recommended corrective actions related to cost, schedule, forecasting (EAC), and risk. Championed a strong safety culture and drove accountability from the top down to ensure everyone went home safe and injury free.

Managed the technical side of module (and other) fabrication for our North Slope oilfield clients to remedy construction challenges and engineering busts. Provided and coordinated resolutions for engineering issues, established and maintained liaison with the design discipline engineering staff, assisted with estimating, planning, and scheduling, worked closely with our discipline superintendents to support and collaborate throughout project fabrication, reviewed and interpreted design drawings and specifications, was the point of contact for our clients and worked closely with our clients throughout all phases of projects to ensure a seamless kickoff and turnover product. Most projects were in the $10MM - $30MM range.

Consulting on Program Level Construction Management and planning on multi billion dollar Oil & Gas programs. Construction planning large Alaska based marine projects while in the pre-Feed phase.

Supercargo/Superintendent for the loading of whole logs and ore around coastal Alaska. Work areas include above the Arctic Circle to Southeast Alaska. Most work areas are remote with limited or no services which require solid planning, training and extensive risk management. Worked with multinational crews to provide safe loads and determine appropriate load plans as well as negotiate with union longshoremen and Alaska Native shareholders to provide the best service possible for our customers. Work with numerous government agencies including Customs, Immigrations, Coast Guard and Agriculture. Coordinate and multitask with numerous other stakeholders such as ship pilots, tugboat operators, customers, air taxis, camp personnel and local workers. Oversee all employees, medical emergencies, hiring and terminations, provide payroll and update schedules. Lead all safety meetings and usually supervise crews of 20 to 30 workers. Provide solutions for logistical challenges and unexpected problems.

Planned logistics to re-introduce cruise ships to the Port of Whittier, developed operations and safety plans, trained workers and oversaw day to day operations for the summer cruise season.Negotiated continually with the International Longshore Workers Union to provide agreeable work operations for both industry and the union. Developed contingent plans for any disaster that could affect operations.

Led framing crews, performed daily foreman duties, and operated equipment (including crane) on Federally funded projects in the $10 million to $30 million range. Worked with sub-contractors to find solutions to unexpected problems. Projects included hospitals, post office, schools, shipyard and detention center.
