Skills I am acquiring and growing on a daily basis:• Developing lesson plans that inline with district and state standards, but also encourages student engagement and growth• Classroom management that creates a welcoming environment to encourage student success through consistency, respect, and clear expectations. • Patience and compassion towards students and their diverse sets of needs. Creating a space that allows for challenge and success along with the understanding and equity that is needed. • Personal desire for constant growth. As stated above, these skills are skills that I never intend to settle on.
