Developing AI and image-processing based software for the detection of sub-cranial hemorrhages (ICH)in non-contrast CT images. The software is a decision support system for the physician, and interfaces with PACS’s and CTs manufactured by companies such as PHILIPS, FUJI, IBM, GE. The product is going through various regulatory stages in the FDA. Converting algorithms from Matlab to C++ with very high numerical compatibility.  Software optimization in terms of algorithms, speed, memory, and parallel processing. Debugging and solving critical and stubborn C++ bugs, such as crashes, memory leaks, bad results of boundary cases, random behavior, and more. Implementing DNN networks in the software by the means of advanced Intel libraries, whilst communicating with the Intel developers themselves (and sometimes locating their bugs). In charge of running static code analysis to meet regulatory standards and implementing the necessary code changes. Maintaining the (Python based) management module and solving difficult stability bugs and memory leaks. Sometimes, facing customers in real time. Converting software from a windows environment to a Linux - under docker. Ongoing daily work with Jira and Git systems.

Creating a research module in Matlab that used real runtime data from the C++ environment.1999-2003 IP team member in the DR system : Improving existing infrastructures and adding new ones to the win32 soft-real-time/multithreaded system (server). Important infrastructures were a memory caching mechanism and an error handling mechanism. 1998-1999 Implementation in the algorithm team of the DR system : Implementing Automatic Defect Classification algorithms and converting from Matlab to C++ in a windows environment. Implementation used Matrox libraries and imaging processing boards.
