I am the technical lead of a team responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting the WAN/LAN infrastructures for several corporate and customer networks as well as provide lifecycle management, quality assurance, customer communications, and technical/troubleshooting support. I also conduct the technical interviews for CGI candidates to ensure that the highest quality candidates are accepted into the team. Additionally, I am responsible for the training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and career development of more than 46 staff network engineers and project managers.I am assigned as a Senior Network Engineer supporting multiple major telecommunication carrier accounts encompassing a wide range of complex technical feature sets. Responsibilities in this position include traffic engineering, hardware/software configuration, diversity analysis, disaster recovery analysis, inventory management, utilization analysis, network implementation, problem management and general subject matter expertise.Some key aspects of this position are the ability to coordinate with client's planning and engineering organizations to ensure all plans integrate seamlessly with existing architectures and processes, coordinate closely with client vendors to resolve production problems and to ensure product quality, work on problems of extremely complex scope where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation covering all aspects of IP based networking, have the ability to discern key aspects of a problem and address them at an early state by determining the best resolution, introduce new technologies to the production environment and ensure these technologies are ready for wide scale deployment, perform complex changes to networks that impact customers nationally and internationally, provide guidance and leadership to the work of others on the team and serve as a technical knowledge source within the organization.

Provide Network design, engineering, and troubleshooting support for the Military's worldwide communication network to include VoIP, VoSIP, video telephony, and high speed data.Served as General Dynamics’ lead Network Engineer for the design, installation, and integration of multiple DMVPN hubs for the support of large and small enterprise networks, consisting of dozens to hundreds of DVMPN endpoints.Utilized planning and engineering methodologies to facilitate the successful implementation and optimization of multiple circuit switched and TCP/IP radio/satellite networks which provided the major telephone and data infrastructure for Operation Iraqi Freedom tactical units.Served as lead Network Engineer for multiple JNTC-S/WIN-T equipment fieldings to ensure government acceptance of all network system hardware, software, and configurations.Delivered comprehensive field training on network engineering and administration functions, for military customers and General Dynamics Field Engineers.Actively used NMS tools for fault isolation and error detection in geographically distributed networks.Worked with General Dynamics System Engineers in the resolution of complex technical problems with currently fielded Army communications and management equipment.Configured, implemented, optimized and maintained OSPF, EIGRP, iBGP, and eBGP routing architectures for multiple networks consisting of several hundred or more routers.
