I am the CEO and Owner of mood9, a film production and media company with a focus on impact-driven storytelling.

I am one of two people responsible for every piece of video content produced and distributed by the Division of Student Life. Here, I have managed communication on video projects that we have been requested to produce, and have also had hands in multiple facets of production, including camerawork, editing, lighting and audio. Additionally, I established a management system for our library of video production equipment by creating a Microsoft PowerApp to track equipment possession and status. I have also established a robust storage system for the organization of our assets, files and projects that utilizes Networked Attached Storage, automated backup scripts and Microsoft OneDrive.

Kent State University TeleProductions produces most of the university’s sporting broadcasts, as well as other videos used throughout campus, including advertisements and more.My responsibilities include camera operation, video playback (VTR), instant replay, graphics operator, and other miscellaneous video-related tasks.

I have been producing videos, including promos, advertisements, wedding videos, live events,motion graphics, documentaries, and more, as a business since 2018. My clients range frompeople looking for simple slideshows and motion graphics to schools and corporationsneeding video to market their products and events.

Working alongside the Entertainment Director, I manage five entertainment television shows at TV2, Kent State University's TV station. My main project is writing documentation for cross-show standardization and an increased branding and marketing strategy. So far, I have overseen the highest-auditioned season of TV2 Entertainment yet, and have led an effort to increase our quality, tighten our expectations, and further our independence and autonomy from TV2 News and TV2 Sports.

I am an associate producer at Kent State University’s student-run television station, TV2.Here, I do multiple video-related things: For newscasts, I am usually editing news packages,and creating news graphics on a time-crunch in a fast-paced newsroom environment, as wellas providing coverage details and insight. I also record interviews in the field, serve as acameraman for live on-scene broadcasts, and create animated graphics for promotion anduse in other TV2 entertainment shows. I’ve even operated equipment such as the ROSSproduction switcher, K2 VTR, teleprompters, ROSS Xpression, various SONY broadcast cameras, NewTek video replay systems, and LiveU. I also am familiar with ROSS Inception newsroom software.

I was the Media Specialist for Camp Y-Noah's 2022 summer camps programs, operated by the Akron Area YMCA. Tasks include obtaining daily footage and photos of different camp activities, and producing weekly videos uploaded online. I also am in charge of uploading photos to an online photo tagging system, and I manage camera distribution and training to various camp counselors.

I worked both full-time during summer months and part-time during the school year at theCovelli-owned Panera Bread location in Wadsworth, Ohio. I took on multiple responsibilities, includingcleaning, delivering, unloading trucks, order-taking, food preparation and more.

I was a paid video production intern for the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church in Canton, OH. Here, I produced multiple short form social media videos and motion graphics that were distributed online for promotion of various events, of which I also assisted in the planning process of.

I worked as a paid technician for the Wadsworth High School Off Broad Street Players inWadsworth, Ohio. During my time there, I operated professional theatre equipment, includingShure microphone packs and receivers, Audio Technica microphone packs and receivers,Yamaha mixers, Blackmagic Design ATEM Mini, ETC lighting consoles, as well as many Sonycamcorders. Using this equipment I was able to manage entire theatre productions in a high-pressure environment during a show, with one other person or singlehandedly, doing thingssuch as preparing microphones and audio profiles, creating presets, troubleshooting, settingup equipment, and setting up speakers. Prior to being on payroll I also did these on avolunteer basis. As part of my responsibilities I also trained multiple younger students in theproper operation of the equipment used.

On my time at The Bruin, I covered multiple controversial stories via writing and short-form video documentaries, including things ranging from gun control and religion to the 2020 Presidential Race Iowa Caucus and Black Lives Matter protests. I was also part of a team that completely revamped and overhauled The Bruin's branding and public image, adjusting from less of a traditional newspaper format to more of a newsmagazine-esque, looser concept. Among the updated was our logos, style guides, website, social media presence, and page layouts.The Bruin Wadsworth High School’s newspaper – Student organized, written, and edited. We publish 8 print issues of our newspaper a year, a yearly magazine issue about our graduating seniors, and update our website and social media pages regularly with topics ranging from local community news to fast-paced world news.
