Conducted spawning ground surveys of Chinook Salmon populations in the Salmon River drainage using GIS equipment and software. Collected biological samples including fin-rays, otoliths, scales and tissue from wild and hatchery origin Chinook Salmon and Steelhead. Constructed, installed and repaired adult picket weirs for the purpose of capturing and collecting data on adult Steelhead and Chinook Salmon. Oversaw successful tagging and marking operations on juvenile salmonids at several hatchery locations throughout Idaho. Managed, trained and supervised seasonal biology technicians on safe and effective operation of Northwest Marine Technology automated marking trailers.Trouble shot highly complex electromechanical and software/hardware issues in automated marking trailers.
