Mica founded and setup a subsidiary company in Nairobi, Kenya and formalized all business operations including legal, finance, and accounting. He supported the development of GCAP's knowledge and decision management software platform. He led business development initiatives for GCAP Kenya subsidiary in East Africa and fostered strategic partnerships with over 10 innovative companies. He managed or supported over five Kenyan and East African regional projects with combined project value over $1.5 Million and supported the development of regional training programs in East Africa on climate change adaptation, biodiversity, and water. He has project experience in Ethiopia, South Africa, Rwanda, Tanzania (including Zanzibar) and Uganda

Along with the CEO, Mica co-led business development of GCAP Global generating close to $2 million in annual revenue. He led global recruitment for the Adaptation Academy (GCAP’s annual training program for climate adaptation professionals), managed all Adaptation Academy event logistics, and supported curriculum development . He led recruitment and managed a database of over 1,700 candidates. He led and supported various global business and financial operations. He has project experience in Belgium, Czech Republic, Ireland, and Italy.
