About Michelle Dowling
I am an aspiring Conservationist and traveller with a great passion for nature and the outdoors. I have a wide repertoire of experience in the industries: Hospitality, Customer Service, Retail, Maritime Conservation.Recently, I spent 18 months abroad, solo-travelling New Zealand which has forever changed me. I decided to embark on this adventure mainly to take a break from my studies but also to gain more valuable life skills and generally grow as a person. During my time there I not only explored many new activities like snowboarding, hiking and adrenaline activities but I also gained many new skills from several jobs. My favourites being my Conservation Internship at Pupu Rangi Nature Sanctuary and also my Boat Hosting role for Southern Discoveries. Next year (2025) I hope to begin studying Environmental Science in Tasmania.I believe that I am a highly adaptive individual with strong communication skills & initiative. I very much enjoy meeting new people as well as pushing myself outside of my comfort zone. With my wide repertoire of experience and zest-for-life, I believe I would be fantastic asset to any team!
