The CompuGene Student Lab is a student-led project in the course of which a project idea is developed on one's own initiative and worked out from start to finish. This includes research and realization in the lab, as well as recruiting sponsors, talking to experts, and attending conferences. Due to the permanent nature of the lab, challenging ideas can be worked through to completion. This can be in the form of a poster, a publication, or even a spin-off. I have been working with 19 other students to develop a low resource diagnostic platform for neglected tropical diseases but the group is constantly growing. I am involved in developing the project idea, planning experiments, setting up the new lab and partly recruiting sponsors + external communication.

In teaching the subjects of inorganic and organic chemistry, as well as biochemistry. The work includes creating, supervising and correcting the exercises for the students. In addition, support as assistant scientist in teaching the respective practical laboratory work.
