Throughout my career as a Clinical Applications Coordinator, I act as a specialist/integrator in the implementation and ongoing support of multi-service clinical software applications used for the Behavioral Health electronic health record (EHR). In areas where package scope overlaps or is integrated with other services' functions, coordination with staff and other application coordinators to implement integrated packages, resolve conflicts, provide support on related software modules, and insure smooth operations. I successfully develop and manage EHR projects as it relates to the customizations of the proprietary software parameters, integration issues with other software packages, and troubleshooting day to day issues that may arise. I collaborate with programmers and developers in local testing of software, identifying software problems, and requesting enhancements. I provide high level technical support in answering customer inquiries, organizing training sessions, making suggestions on future products and services, producing reports, and providing troubleshooting. I also create, implement, and manage an audit and compliance process.The following are highlights of the value I’ve brought to the company; Promoted awareness of the importance of data validity and ensured compliance of HIPAA, 42 CFR part 2, and HITECH regulations.  Collaborated with Behavioral Health staff and administration to implement, optimize, maintain, and upgrade the EHR through building functions and training end users to use the EHR to optimize daily functions.  Optimized process/system by successfully customizing and configuring the EHR.  Increased skills regarding current software applications and new features by training and mentoring.  Ensured documentation and billing modules function accuracy by collaborating with healthcare revenue cycle staff.

Description During my time at Kenaitze Indian Tribe, I played a key role in planning and implementing Medical EHR system. I maintained the Tribe’s Meaningful Use/GPRA Measurement Progression to ensure compliance of all measures as required by the federal government. I supported with all medical patient referrals and maintained providers patient panels.  Enhanced capabilities of case management teams by providing ongoing optimization and training.

I procured a cost-effective office inventory for the department. I Conducted credit card reconciliation to match each transaction on the credit card statement with the company's Ensured the consistent delivery of operations by actively maintaining the Office Manager’s daily schedule.  Provided leadership in recruiting staff, screening applicants, identifying training needs, administering payroll and benefits, negotiating labor agreements, developing budgets, and supporting the company’s strategic goals.
