Most people are familiar with Robert Fulghum’s book, 𝘈𝘭𝘭 𝘐 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘕𝘦𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘐 𝘓𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘯. I like to say that all I really need to know about leadership, I learned by age 15, and it boils down to three core beliefs. First, leaders are obligated to be present and attentive, regardless of the person, discussion, or situation. Second, leaders must make difficult decisions based on the best information available, understanding that outcomes are uncertain. Finally, leaders must empower their teams, igniting engagement, and improving outcomes. I am constantly returning to these beliefs, whether I am mentoring associates, developing strategic plans, or launching new technology. Having a solid belief system has been essential for my success in leading teams to deliver desired results. 𝗞𝗘𝗬 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗦𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴►As VP of Client Training & Facilitation, I launched a 2-year rearchitecting of the client learning experience for Fidelity’s institutional customers, increasing the top 3 box training satisfaction scores by 28%.𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴►As VP of Client Training & Facilitation, I developed a future vision and strategic roadmap to optimize technology usage, increase content use metrics, and improve client experience. ►As VP of Strategy & Planning, I collaborated across teams on the creation of annual business plans, multi-year strategic vision, KPI targets and strategic responses to achieve goals across the entire organization. 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴►I broke barriers among Training Development & Delivery groups, leveraging them horizontally to advance training services, and improving resource allocation, raising team utilization levels to 80%+. ►As VP of Investment Operations, I co-led the relocation of our India-based operations team to Ireland, which had previously only housed a technology team.
