Mr. Cox is a Partner at Peak Development and leads the day-to-day operations and execution of strategy. In this capacity, his responsibilities include deal sourcing, business development, underwriting, project management, entitlements, and leadership for brokerage services and third-party vendors.Mr. Cox began his career developing utility-scale solar farms with the National Renewable Energy Corporation. During his time there he successfully managed complex projects from inception to completion, delivering sustainable energy solutions with a total development value of $425+ million dollars. Building on this success and driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Michael went on help launch, Ptah Investments, a local investment firm focused on startup businesses. One of the more passionate projects is the re-launching of the Charlotte icon, Phat Burrito.Michael holds a BSBA degree from Appalachian State University in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and an MBA Queens University of Charlotte.
