I perform annual audits of stock against sales records. Input stock onto the XPOS system.• Sole responsibility for researching clothing brands, organised buying meetings and launched ranges in the shop. I understand profit margins.• Use competition data to author and publish weekly newsletters for members including equipment information and golf tips.

Hello and welcome to my Linkedin biography.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~As a Head Professional at Alwoodley it is regarded as one of Britain’s finest inland courses. It was designed by the great Dr Alister MacKenzie. This famed architect left a legacy of classic courses around the world – among them Augusta National, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne. However, Alwoodley was the first course he designed and is therefore known as the Original MacKenzie. I have experience of fitting potential customers; ensuring a match between customer and brands such as Titleist, Ping, Mizuno and TaylorMade. Nicknamed ‘The Shaft Man’ by colleagues I have an extensive knowledge through independent research of innovative technologies, alloys and club-head fitting to match to the highly complex and multi joint movement of a golf swing.I consult with brand representatives to organise fitting days, this entails setting up, managing bookings, hosting duties, and supporting the representative. Frequently, I have stepped in to assist with additional bookings, most recently I have assisted the Taylor Made representative to fit perspective customers using a prescriptive approach I listened and asked questions to gain information before making suggestions and testing equipment. I am a professional with experience of golf courses and I just wanted to say that when I arrived at the shop prior to playing I met the professional ( he introduced himself as Michael) who delivered the best customer service and experience I have ever had. Michael was super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable who made my visit to this top-class golf club that much better. From my own personal experience of working as a golf professional I know it can be tough, so to see someone as enthusiastic about Alwoodley was refreshing.
