RFK Community Alliance is the product of two terrific organizations, Dr. Franklin Perkins School and RFK Children's Action Corps coming together as The RFK Community Alliance. Building on the histories of both organizations - Dr. Franklin Perkins School founded in 1896 and RFK Children's Action Corps founded in 1969 - we are a multi-service agency offering programs and services to individuals of all ages and their families. The individuals and families that we work with face a range of challenges that require expert support and programming. Challenges often including trauma, poverty, learning or developmental, and mental health.At RFK Community Alliance we are partners and champions of peoples' strengths. We help people to be connected, capable, and healthy, promoting meaningful and sustained well-being for all of the individuals we work with and for our larger community. We are dedicated to providing excellent service and support to everyone we work with.

Served as an adjunct professor and taught classes on research methods and evaluation research

Provided program leadership and conducted research evaluating the impact of long term Mobility Mentoring Programs and Services on parents and their children. Mobility Mentoring programs support low-income individuals and their families in their efforts toward improved economic security.Co-authored Crittenton Women's Union's Massachusetts Economic Independence Index 2013 (http://www.liveworkthrive.org/research_and_tools/reports_and_publications/Massachusetts_Economic_Independence_Index_2013).

Served 3 terms as Trustee and as Treasurer for 4 years (2009-2013). As Treasurer: chaired finance committee; provided guidance to Executive Director on all financial matters; reviewed and analyzed monthly financial reports; worked with Executive Director to develop annual budget; and developed and maintained a 5 year financial planning tool. As member of the strategic planning committee helped develop and implement a new strategic plan.

As MSPCC’s Boston Site Director I oversaw and managed all site operations including a mental health clinic, community service agency, after school program and parent education and support program for at risk parents and families. As Site Director I oversaw significant expansion of the site's clinic and implemented wraparound services under the Commonwealth’s Children’s Behavioral Health Initiative. MSPCC's Boston site doubled in size over the first two years of my leadership. Critical to this growth was the hiring of quality staff, maintaining low turnover and the development of successful collaborations with community partners and funders. I also chaired the local System of Care committee.As MSPCC’s Director of Evaluation and Quality Assurance I planned, developed and implemented outcome and quality indicators for all programs and services. I analyzed outcome and program implementation data and provided regular reports to program staff, management and funders. I also worked closely with program staff and management to utilize evaluation findings to improve program services and improve program outcomes and to assist with program development and grant applications.

As a Teaching Assistant for Heller School MBA courses, Strategic Management, Financial Management, and the Capstone, I led select classes, met with students to provide guidance and support on class assignments and concepts, and assisted with grading and providing feedback on written assignments and class participation.

As a Research Associate I analyzed service delivery and claims data for children receiving Early Intervention (EI) services at selected EI programs to identify the types, duration, and intensity of EI services provided to children in families with supported child abuse and neglect cases. Using this data, I assessed the potential impact on the EI system of statewide implementation of offering referrals to EI for all children under age 3 with newly opened DSS cases

Worked with State mental health and private provider agencies to provide revenue maximization services, support for ongoing Federal claims and assistance with new revenue initiatives.Supervised, provided technical assistance, and led claiming initiatives to maximize non-state revenue for the Massachusetts Department of Social Services (DSS).Assisted with staff development and quality assurance for the DSS Revenue Management UnitLed an internal compliance review of the DSS Revenue Management Unit to ensure that all project functional areas met internal standards as well as all Federal and State regulatory requirements.

Hired as an Outreach Caseworker in Springfield, Massachusetts and subsequently promoted to supervise outreach and residential programming. Left Key in order to pursue Masters degrees in Social Work and Business Administration. Returned to Key following completion of degrees to supervise outreach services in Northeastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
