With nearly 35 years of experience in Financial Services, Mike began his career working closely with his clients, helping them to build, manage, protect and pass on their wealth. Based on each client's unique objectives and legacy wishes, Mike structures individualized and comprehensive financial plans. Earning his B.A. from Rutgers College in 1990, Mike had already begun interning on Wall Street as a Merrill Lynch Money Market Trader's Assistant in 1989. He worked to become a Registered Taxable Debt Marketing Specialist and Syndicate Desk Coordinator for Merrill Lynch's Private Client Sales Division. Throughout his career, Mike continued to very successfully, grow his financial advisory relationships. Mike and his wife Carrie reside with their sons, Gavin and Garett in Springfield, NJ.   Earning his B.A. from Rutgers College in 1990, Mike had already begun interning on Wall Street as a Merrill Lynch Money Market Trader’s Assistant in 1989. His love for the business caused him to advance his studies in finance and pursue licensing to become a Registered Taxable Debt Marketing Specialist and Syndicate Desk Coordinator for Merrill Lynch’s Private Client Sales Division. Through 1999, Mike worked as a Private Client Financial Advisor in their Merrill Lynch Short Hills, NJ offices. In 1999, he accepted a position with First Union Securities as a Financial Advisor in their Summit, NJ offices. Over the next twelve (12) years, Mike continued to very successfully, grow his financial advisory relationships in spite of two large reorganizations and mergers with Wachovia Securities, then again with Wells Fargo Advisors. In December, 2011 Michael and his DSP Wealth Management team accepted a new and unique investment opportunity for both his team and clients, transferring to UBS Financial Services - Wealth Management Americas group in Westfield, NJ. Mike currently holds FINRA & NASAA Series 6 (Investment Company & Variable Securities Representative), Series 7 (General Securities Representative), Series 63 (State Securities Agent) and Series 65 (Investment Adviser Representative) licenses/registrations. Mike is also licensed for Life & Health Insurance products and, is currently a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) candidate. He and his wife Carrie reside with their sons, Gavin and Garett in Springfield, NJ.
