Working with Management, Supervisors, Foreman & employees to identify, assess, plan and control potential hazards on the work site.Implementing OH & S Regulations and Conoco Phillips/Bantrel HS & E COR processProvide direction and supervision to a crew of 10-25 employees and subcontractorsImplementing Corporate and Client safety policiesDirecting safe procedures and legislative requirements while developing and fostering a strong safety culture at a large, diverse, established worksite.Continuous monitoring of the crew's safety performance and ensuring conformance to comprehensive safety programs.Internal auditingConducting orientations for employees and subcontractors working at customer sitesNotifying the HSE Manage of any deviances or deficiencies pertaining to safety.Ensuring compliance with Filterboxx's proactive reporting, inspections, orientations and permitting processes.Conducting thorough investigation of incidents with loss and near misses utilizing causal analysisFacilitating daily toolbox meetings and weekly safety meetingsPerforming other safety functions as required.

Contracted to ATCO AB sites - 250 man camps Ensured site compliance and training to required procedures, document all incidents, safety violations, and unsafe conditions.Maintained COR compliance of safety management system program.Recommended measures to help protect workers from potentially hazardous work methods, processes, or materials.Provided new employee health and safety orientation.Internal auditing.Conducting/closing all incident investigations.Ensured the presence of fire prevention equipment, safety equipment, and first-aid supplies.
