I’m Michael Mason, a highly-motivated tech enthusiast with a drive for learning and problem solving.My interest in information technology began at the University of Oklahoma, where I designed an inventory management system for a student-led small business during my sophomore year. From there, I developed a passion for building technical projects using tools such as SQL, C#, PowerBI, and Excel.Currently, I’m a cybersecurity intern for Pioneer Natural Resources while pursuing my bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. During my time at Pioneer, I’ve gained an extensive knowledge of the NIST cybersecurity framework, utilized various security information and event management tools, and collaborated with stakeholders within the organization to implement solutions that improve security for the business.As I continue to grow in my career, I hope to learn and collaborate with the most brilliant minds in the technology industry to not only become an expert in areas such as cybersecurity, data analytics, and automation, but also develop products that will one day change the world.
