Senior Program Manager, Mission Readiness Airlift (Air National Guard)
CurrentManage the execution of the military airlift movement of personnel and equipment for unitdeployments, exercises, operational missions, and worldwide contingencies. Focal point for the ANG Mission Readiness Airlift (MRA) program and ensures the NGB provides capable unit forces to support valid readiness airlift and training requirements. Formulate and execute transportation and deployment policies, procedures and programs to support worldwide deployment of ANG forces. Serve as the NGB Special Assignment Airlift Mission (SAAM) validator to HQ Air Mobility Command and U.S. Transportation Command. Prepare and execute the ANG Special Assignment Airlift Mission (SAAM) budget. Coordinate and participate in the planning and programming of ANG transportation requirements by maintaining regular and recurring liaison with all Major Commands (MAJCOMs), JCS, Foreign Nations, and individual ANG units concerning matters of operational control and mission status. Responsible for the effective utilization of resources to support airlift and surface transportation requirements for exercises, deployments, and contingencies. Review, interpret, and coordinate DoD, HAF, and MAJCOM directives, policies, procedures, and instructions that pertain to and implement the MRA mission. Identify, budget, validate, and provide special training (ST) days and travel funds necessary to support airlift units and MRA mission execution. Serve as a Mobility Airlift representative when ANG Crisis Action Team (CAT) is activated. Acts as the primary transportation advisor to the Logistics cell. Assist NGB/A21M Functional Area Managers (FAMs) in the development of Deployment Readiness Manning Documents for Transportation functions for various Operations and Deployment Plans, to include transportation and deployment policies, procedures and programs to support worldwide deployment of ANG forces.
