As a chart abstractor, I contributed to the analysis and migration of medical data between legacy and modern Electronic Health Records (EHR). I was responsible for optimizing the quality of patient data, working closely with internal and external team members, and improving the accuracy and reliability of medical patient charts throughout the project. I took an active and crucial role in the assurance of patient safety within the health systems by performing data analysis and validation in collaboration with other team leads. As a team lead, I oversee over 15 employees and mentor them to do their job efficiently. I was responsible for implementing strategies that team members use to achieve our goals. I delegated tasks and set deadlines based on each member’s strengths and skills and offered the training necessary to complete certain tasks.
