Oversees a portfolio of exercise and training event programs with stakeholders from all US services, interagency partners as well as 32 nations in Central and South America and the Caribbean. Increased the efficiency and effectiveness of the portfolio and programs resulting in increased capability of the Army South Headquarters and partner nations’ agencies while remaining on-time and on-budget for all exercises and training programs.

The US Army's executive-level development and education: Earned a Master of Arts in Strategic Studies with an Area of Concentration in Change Management. Studied geo-political history, strategy, strategic leadership, joint and interagency functions, Operational Art and Design and Department of Defense requirements, budgeting and procurement processes. Published a thesis and article focused on changing the Army’s training and exercise culture to improve readiness. Responsible for program and project management and the day-to-day operations, planning and implementation of an extremely diverse organization consisting of a combination of over 200 active duty, reservists and civilians. Responsible for change management and exercise design and planning program with 80 personnel and an annual budget in excess of $18M. Supervised six project managers and conducted team building, mentorship and counseling to improve employee and team performance. Personally led a change and improvement project that doubled the size and effectiveness of the organization’s exercise program by recruiting a rare mix of skills and experience and implementing new processes and procedures. Directed the movement and integration of the organization into larger, more effective facilities that increase productivity with minimal cost allowing completion of 25 annual projects on time and on budget.

Project Manager for projects supporting the major organizational change, improvement and transformation initiatives for the largest, most complex organizations in the U.S. Army. Advised and consulted executives and senior directors on organizational transition and improvement proposals, including cost and risk management. Projects focused on personnel, systems and process improvement by custom designing solutions for each organization. Managed the integration of the Fort Hood Mission Training Complex consisting of 6 facilities, 88 contractors and 4 Department of the Army Civilians and over 60 million worth equipment to ensure project objectives were met, on time and on budget. Additionally, acted as the senior mentor to other Functional Area 57 career filed officers on Fort Hood, providing in-briefs, training and mentorship to all FA57s assigned to Fort Hood.

Director of the Mission Training Complex and Program Manager responsible for supporting the major organizational change and improvement initiatives of the largest, most complex organizations in the U.S. Army on six installations, Forts Hood, Bliss, Riley, Carson, Sill and Knox. Responsible for the allocation of technical resources and expertise across six installations to support over 1,000 mission command classes and over 2,000 mission command exercises to meet organization CEOs objectives for change and transition. Managed a program of improvement support projects, integrating the support of the Mission Training Complexes consisting of 12 facilities, 236 personnel and over $140M worth of equipment and an operating budget of $28M. Additionally, acted as the senior mentor to other Functional Area 57 career fieled officers on Fort Hood, providing in-briefs, training and mentorship to all FA57s assigned to Fort Hood.

Iii Corps/Fort Hood Hq, Fort Hood, Texas

Responsible for project management to improve the communications systems and business processes of the Tactical Operations Center (TOC) of the U.S. Army's 3rd Armored Corps, the largest combat headquarters in the U.S. Army. Developed and implemented a project to improve the TOC Knowledge Management processes and the supporting Information Management and Communications Systems. As the Deputy Chief of Operations, supervised and integrated the efforts of 88 diverse personnel to manage information, synchronize operations and provide the Commanding General (CEO) assessments for strategic decisions during a major organizational improvement project lasting 18 months. The resulted was a dramatic improvement in organizational effectiveness, combat readiness and deployment readiness.

3D Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Hood, Texas

Led the Tactical Operations Center of the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment. Supervised and integrated the efforts of 30 diverse personnel to manage information, synchronize operations and provide the Regimental Commander assessments for tactical decisions. Led the current operations section during train-up, deployment and combat operations and redeployment from Iraq. Developed, trained and improved the Tactical Operations Center standard operating procedures, Knowledge Management program and the supporting Mission Command Information System integration.

Camp Hm Smith, Hawaii

Responsible for managing highly technical projects and project work groups focused on a portfolio of exercises for US Pacific Command. Served as the project manager for the database development and the scenario development work groups for the largest organizational change and improvement initiatives in the Pacific Theater with an operating budget of over $8M. Led a diverse scenario team of over 30 joint and inter-agency subject matter experts (including retired flag officers) to develop and execute unique strategic and operational scenarios to organizational improvement objectives. Served as the Chief Controller in a Joint Exercise Control Group consisting of over 1,500 personnel at multiple locations. Led the project management team for two Navy and Air Force-focused organizational improvement projects in Alaska and the northeast Pacific.
