Instructor at Nuclear Power School (NPS), Naval Nuclear Power Training Command (NNPTC). Trained enlisted and officer students in the fundamentals of nuclear propulsion plant design, maintenance, and operations. After teaching Enlisted Chemistry, Materials, and Radiological Fundamentals, including serving as the Division Director, rotated to Officer Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow and served as an Officer Student Advisor.Served as Director, Enlisted Chemistry, Materials, and Radiological Fundamentals Division (E-CMR), Dec. 2014 - October 2015. Responsible for instruction of enlisted students in the basics of nuclear chemistry. Managed the E-CMR curriculum, exam security and controls, and supervised a staff of two dozen instructors. Radiological Controls Officer, Dec. 2014 - October 2015. Responsible for the command's Internal Monitoring Radiation Health Program, which monitors all nuclear-trained operators for radiological contamination. Conducted internal monitoring on thousands of students and staff members with no deficiencies. Responsible for the handling of radioactive sources at NNPTC.Instructor, Officer Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow, December 2015 - February 2017. Teach officer students the fundamentals of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and overall thermodynamic principles. As Officer Student Advisor, guiding junior officers as they enter the nuclear training pipeline. Performed counseling, disciplinary measures, personnel management, and provided recommendations for retention or disenrollment of struggling students to senior leadership
