Growing up in east London. I embarked on my football journey at the age of 9, which lead me to be signed for the likes of Charlton Athletic , Southampton and Dagenham & Redbridge. To signing my professional contract at Wolverhampton Wanderers at 17. Working with elite professionals from an early age matured me much more quickly than other individuals my age and taught me valuable lessons in leadership, work ethic, and social skills to name a few. I recognised that we only ever bonded within our football bubbles and locked ourselves away from the outside world, that I always knew had an abundance of opportunity, and I wanted to explore this other world and not be confined to only the football circles. A few friends of mine that were in the game set up and started their own company’s, such as Owen Otasowie, founder and creative director of Carsicko clothing brand, Brendon Shabani, founder of Rising Ballers, and Jordan Thomas, founder of Taoma Art House. I’ve been able to play a part in their journey’s both business and football, in terms of ideas and my input at different points where my expertise has been able to aid them. Once reflecting on my abilities and potential in the business space, I grew a passion to pursue this further and decided to gain more knowledge about the world of business. I have learned and mastered multiple skills over the last 15 years in sport that I realised can be transferred and applied directly into business. I am constantly refining them in order to be more efficient and effective in this space while consistently being a reliable asset to the individuals and teams I’m working with.
