I am an experienced supervisor and leader with 25 years of management experience. I enjoy the management of people, manufacturing processes and having an influence in the way things are done. Each day, I feel I am making a positive difference. Mentoring of junior colleagues has resulted in performance improvements and career progression for those I have mentored. In my recent role, I introduced a new business initiative of flexible working into assembly to increase through put of orders each day. This helped to attract staff and retain them as they were able to start work within a 2.5 hour working slot each day. I saw that it also improved their work life balance resulting not only in a happier workforce, it also increased productivity and customer satisfaction.I am looking to use my team leading and supervisory skills to make a difference in a manufacturing or operations environment.
