In January 2022, I moved to a consultant role.I've worked with Mercer Foods for over 25 years. in that time we've been profitable every year and the sales volume increased 600%.Given that I lead the marketing and sales efforts during most of the past 25 years, I could claim that the results were based on my stellar marketing and sales skills. However, that would not be true - I am good at what I do - but the results happened because we had a great group of people working together.We've grown from a small niche company to one that has built a strong business presence supplying freeze-dried ingredients to the cereal, dry soup, confectionery, healthy snack and nutrition markets.Industrial ingredients will continue s our foundation business. Our focus moving forward will be to position freeze-dried fruit, vegetables and other specialty items in selected retail and food service market segments.
