As an innovative, solutions-driven Engineer with Mercedes-Benz International, I pride myself for having a very distinguished career that spans internationally. This includes studying abroad at Reutlingen University in Germany and most recently, traveling back to Germany for the planning and launching of our GLE Coupe series. I also led process engineering for model year changes. While leading my team members, I have been able to adapt and thrive in most any given situation; therefore, I can perform in any spectrum within a company. If you were to ask my peers and others in leadership who know my work ethic, they would describe me as:► Tenacious and willing to deliver 110%.► Always achieving results, and often exceeding goals.► Willing to challenge everyone to think outside the box and achieve higher levels of thinking.► Treating team members fairly and being very supportive of each individual. My Daily Goals Consist of:Continuous improvement, which includes production and my team members’ performance. When they achieve, I achieve. This is why I employ a team-based management style. If I can remove a roadblock or make an engineer’s job easier or help them resolve a tough issue, then I have succeeded in my goals for the day. As a leader who constantly solves problems and strives to enforce standards in the engineering spectrum, I continuously seek out ways to support and improve my team members’ skills and expertise. The most important things I have learned in my career:Flexibility, speed and adaption, along with the fact that people want to feel like you are interested in their growth and development.Among others in my industry with similar experience, what sets me a part is the delicate balance I bring between achieving company goals and serving as a true leader and coach to my team members. I thrive in cross-functional and cross-departmental environments. I enjoy the challenge in trying to make everyone agree to steer the ship in the same direction while achieving goals together.Ready to connect?
