I design, develop and deploy transportation management systems. Systems I've worked on include a Drayage package for owner/operators. A Brokerage package we also tailor as a TMS system. A Rail package that allows tracking shipments over the road and on the rail, from it's origin through to its destination. All packages handle multi stops, as need be. These systems are tied into one full featured accounting package. We have an array of portal and app products to support external users. Such as DrayNet for drayman in our Intermodal product. TabNet for OTR drivers for our Drayage package. More recently, we are in Beta, rolling out Envase Mobile to pair with our Drayage package, it will replace DrayNet. CarrierNet to support drayage vendors that are used in our OTR system. Along with a customer portal that allows customers to see their load info, it's supported across all our systems. The drayage and rail systems have tracing capabilities take allows tracking loads on the rail, and import/export loads at most domestic ports. The systems can handle loads coming into and out of Mexico and Canada. Another system we have allows for warehouse management, currently we have a fork lift company that utilizes this system to manage their inventory. We partner with the rails, ports and many carriers to handle EDI communications when available, and rely on scrapping their websites whenever it's not. Our iPhone/Android applications support phones and tablets, allow for GPS tracking, and provide real time arrival/departures that update our DMS package. We have expanded the use of our app so drivers can document any damage to their loads, self assign loads, and communicate with dispatchers in real-time. We continually strive to use new technologies to develop new features and provide upgrades that benefit our customers. Some technologies I've used for the above include AWS S3, AWS Lambda, Amazon EC2, REST API's, LAMP, Java, Javascript, AJAX, JQuery, and SFTP.

They are an owner/operater for OTR loads. While there I helped maintain their main TMS system. Created a port authority software system for US Customs to use. They shared space with GWII at the time, in a new warehouse created at Barbours Cut, and Customs wanted a system that integrated their hold and release dates with Gulf Winds TMS system. Created a drivers safety system that integrated into their TMS system. These systems utilized Perl, MySQL, JavaScript, Linux, and Apache technologies.

I designed and devloped a system that integrated around a hundred new sites they had acquired that year, with their corporate head quarters in The Woodlands, TX. This project allowed the locations to enter sales data by salesman and location, and generate reports by location and for coporate to track sales data. The data was stored in XML so that it could be extracted and manipulated easily by their coporate IT for use in their existing system.
