I was the Virginia Sickle Cell Awareness Program's ( VASCAP ) Sickle cell poster child for two years in a row in 92 and 93. In 93 I participated as a Sickle cell patient advocate in Health Security Express, Hilary Clinton's push for Universal Healthcare. I have been advocating for Sickle cell Patient rights ever since. I have represented Sickle cell at the State and Federal level including DHHS, FDA, and the Office of the Health Secretary.

I ran the phone banks at Euclid Democratic Party field office at 333 Babbit Rd. during final weeks of election. I managed around 30 Volunteers whom I had to train on the fly.

Worked a short time running the phone bank and coordinating field operations. I coordinated events for the candidate, managed volunteers and trained them for various tasks.
