I successfully turned around this company from 15 years 10% YOY decline and losses to grow YOY sales and EBITA. Since becoming President, Sales grew by 10% YOY each year and EBITA grew by over 400% - for 2016, 2017 and 2018This also resulted in Japan being ranked as the number 1 sales country in the world for Forever Living Products out of 166 countries for 3 consecutive years - 2016, 2017 and 2018.Furthermore - Forever Living Products Japan was also ranked 3rd largest company in terms of total sales in Japan in the Nutritional Supplements sector in 2016, 2017 and 2018. This represents Significant increases in rankings from prior years where FLP was not in top rankings.I also spearheaded a revolutionary manufacturing, packaging, rebranding overhaul and relaunch of our flagship product - Aloe Vera Juice. Launched a new environmentally friendly 1 liter Tetra Pak and 250 ml Mini Tetra Pak exceeding sales targets by over 300%. The manufacturing, packaging and branding had previously not changed for 34 years. Ceo & President / Chairman & Ceo/Board MemberAvon Japan / Oasu Global Manufacturing Jan 2011 - Jul 2015Japan And TaiwanAs part of A Merger and Acquisition - Successfully acquired from Avon Global and Turnaround this legendary Avon brand, beauty and skin care company by stabilizing and growing sales with significant growth in EBITA within the first year of assuming the role of CEO - following over 15 years YOY decline in sales and negative EBITA Spearheaded the complete reorganization of supply chain management and business process redesign - resulting in annual savings in excess of US$30 million. This also focused on rebuilding the enitre digital marketing, new customer acquisition and e-commerce strategies which revolutionized this traditional analogue business into a successful online ecommerce driven business. First NEW brand launched was First Crush an Acne Care line which exceeded targets by over 300% and successfully overtook The market leaders in online sales. This paved the way for online digital focus - successfully positioning the company for an investment exit and sale. Successfully split the skin care/ manufacturing factory and supply chain management into a separate legal entity (from Direct Selling unit) to OEM skincare and cosmetics for 3rd Parties as well as Avon Group of companies. Also sperheaeded the relocation of the entire headquarters from Tokyo to Yokohama - resulting in annual rental savings on US$1 million.I was consecutively CEO of the Avon direct Selling company and CEO/Chairman of the Board of Directors of the OEM Manufacturing/factory/supply chain management company. I was hired specifically to Turnaround the business to position Guthy Renker to reach its potential, to significantly and incrementally grow sales, build the profile of the company and its brands and profitability. Grew sales from US$80 million per year to $300 million per year. 5x growth in EBITA, shifted from 29 minute Infomercial on late night Cable TV direct marketing model to 60, 30 and 15 seconds TV commercial on mainstream commercial TV channels and Digital marketing business model thereby increase reach and frequency and hence awareness of our brands. In particular acne care product ProactivI pioneered our digital, social media and ecommerce turnaround strategies. Upon joining Guthy-Renker only 10% of our sales were via digital/ecommerce. Within 2 years I spearheaded the online digital strategy that shifted online sales to represent 90% of total sales and 90% of sales were on autoship. Successfully and Personally negotiated all celebrity endorsement contracts for all Japanese celebrities.
