Vegan micro bakery.

At HomeSense my duties included keeping the store tidyand maintaining store standards, serving customers,handling money, flowing merchandise, re-ticketingmerchandise, visual merchandising, and receivingdeliveries with pace and efficiency.

During this time I took on a range of roles, which helpeddevelop my flexibility and communication skills. Theseincluded working as a cashier, using the till to processpayments, performing money checks, processing andsorting new stock deliveries. Preparing stock for displayon the shop floor, cleaning shelves, counters and tables.Greeting customers and working as part of a team ofvolunteers and sta members.During my time volunteering I was trusted to open andclose the shop and would occasionally be responsible forthe daily running of the shop. When I am home during theholidays from University I continue to volunteer.

My main duties included working as a cashier whichinvolved handling money and using the till to processpayments. Greeting customers using my interpersonalskills and familiarising my self with the menu to answercustomers enquires. Additional roles included deliveringcustomers orders quickly and correctly and keeping thecafé clean while I was on shift.
