Involvements:Aquarium Divers For Coral SocietyFounder of “Aquarium Divers for Coral". It is a nonprofit 501c3, formed to network volunteer aquarium divers from across the country, to voluntarily use their skills to help stabilize coral reef ecosystems. Foundations doing restoration depend heavily on volunteerism. Presently ADFC is working with foundations doing coral restoration. Coral restoration dive trips are being scheduled to the Florida Keys and to islands in the Caribbean. Plastic Free DelawareBoard Member working to make Delaware free of plastic pollution. Promoting reduction, reuse and recycling of plastic by educating the public and helping develop legislation to ban and or control single use plastic laws and regulations. Helped get the plastic bag bill, HB 130 in Delaware passed into law and enacted 1/2021. Anderson also provides presentations such as “Plastic and the Ocean” and “Journey to Life Under the Sea” for schools and organizations.
