Current• Designed, built, and tested engineering solutions to meet or exceed customer specifications.• Designed products including the following:o Complete armoring solutions for OEM vehicle modifications and heavy equipment cab replacement units.o Complete electrical systems to incorporate military communications systems, vehicle blackout systems, Public Address/Lighting systems, personally designed vehicle accessory override devices (A/C lockout, traction control/ABS lockout, airbag temporary disable)o Upgraded suspension and drivetrain modification for overweight/off-road applications.o Equipment mounting provisions, interior reconfiguration for OEM appearance.o Aircraft and rail transport provisions to meet MIL-STD-209K.• Worked with a team of engineers and fabricators to manage projects from initial proposals to prototype/test configurations to final production.• Utilized finite element analysis to reduce component weights while meeting all system performance criteria.• Obtained data using FARO CMM, load cells, accelerometers, and anemometers.• Wrote testing procedures, test reports, safety assessments, and system impact assessments.• Performed in-house vehicle/component testing and assisted with government first article testing.• Organized and compiled Bills of Materials and Technical Data Packages.• Conducted presentations to customers and training to end users-mechanics and operators.
