Quality Engineering support for program product lines.

Quality Engineering role working a full spectrum of Professional Quality-related tasks.- Internal production, factory auditing to ISO 9001, Inspection Processes, and RCCA- External supplier development & quality issues, failure investigations, & maintaining positive supplier relationships with open lines of communication- Customer concerns, direct development of customer relationships, timely response to corrective actions, leading Returns Program- Consulting and Input on Development Programs, assistance with setting up Process Controls- Development of internal business processes and training and driving continuous improvements.

As part of the Space Systems Design Directorate, provide leadership in driving product lines through Qualification & Testing through full rate production. Leverage working relationships with suppliers to enhance production efficiencies and identify & overcome production and program risks.Act as liaison between Raytheon and suppliers; assisting suppliers with understanding and meeting Raytheon program mandates and initiatives. Tackling efficiency issues within the contracting process. Participate in specification and design developments, assist in failure analysis, when necessary.Interface with Raytheon Corporate and Government customers, ensuring concerns are adequately understood and addressed in a timely manner.

Function as part of the Raytheon Field Engineering (FE) organization and act as the liaison between a specifically assigned supplier and Raytheon's Program Team. Develop relationships with assigned supplier to perform supplier quality engagements, proactive assessments, and various qualification and verification audits. Monitor supplier performance to identify trends, analyze for opportunities for continuous improvement and implement supplier improvement actions. Also, appraise technology advances and align supplier process innovations with Raytheon's technical needs. Statistically analyze process data and identify opportunities to improve process performance. Evaluate potential improvement opportunities. Engage with Program Engineering, Supply Chain, and Supplier Quality to facilitate DOE, DFMA, PFMEA, DTC, CAIV, Process Error Proofing, Standardized Work, R&R analysis and Lean engagements.

Responsible for Supplier-Related issues for a key program at Raytheon. Responsibilities included ensuring Quality Hardware gets in the door by interfacing directly with suppliers to create an understanding of technical, quality, and contract requirements, performance of source inspections and supplier audits, consulting on Integrated Product Teams for critical suppliers, and determining part-specific flow down quality requirements based on program and customer needs.Tie in program and organization management and customer representation through reporting supplier-focused Quality Metrics.

Tutor for Linguistics, Mathematics, and General Education coursework to students with learning-related disabilities.

Tier II Mentor-Level support for Lucent Technologies' Ascend Routers and VPN Devices over communication technologies such as ISDN, Lease 56, Modems, T-1, Frame-Relay, and ethernet. Technical support and network trouble-shooting for small office to medium router network applications using TCP/IP, Mac, PPP, and Novel routing protocols.

Manage base communication assets including hand-held, stationary, and mobile radios, cellular phones, base and commercial pagers, and associated equipment including remote consoles, base-station radios and repeaters, and antenna systems. Also served as the base frequency manager for Davis-Monthan AFB.Responsibilities:Training organizational POCs for internal radio management.Administrator and QA for Asset Maintainence contracts.Base Frequency Management.Technical Support for communication issues.Programming and minor repair of radios as needed.Installation of Vehicle & Stationary Radios.Yearly asset auditing of communication and frequency assets.Experiences:Deployment to Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch.Assisted in design and proposal of the base-wide trunked radio system.Contract Negotiations for Base's Radio Maintainence contract.Assisted in writing Radio Use Policy, supplementing Air Force Policy.
