For over seven years, I provided IT audit, information security and business continuity advisory services to clients in a variety of industries for KPMG's IT Advisory practice. In 2008 I was given the opportunity to work internally on the firm's business continuity program. This led to my being named Director of the Business Continuity Management organization in 2010.In this role, I was responsible for program strategy and the implementation and maintenance of resources dedicated to continuing and restoring non-IT operations impacted by unplanned business disruptions for the US firm. This included a keen focus on crisis management activities, and associated plan development, training and maintenance of supporting technologies. My program supported over 900 crisis team leaders and employee volunteers at approximately 90 KPMG offices in the US.In 2014 I accepted the additional responsibility of US field office physical security. In this role, I managed two security administrators and ensure the proper design, installation, operation and maintenance of enterprise access control, badging, video surveillance and environmental monitoring, under a mission of securing our people and property while providing convenient, controlled physical access for over 35,000 employees and contractors.In both roles, I supported a broad range of stakeholders, including office operations, technology, firmwide security, internal audit and leaders among the firm's partnership.In 2023, my role shifted to a full enterprise-wide scope to support all US business functions in building and maintaining resilient processes.Historical specializations include: security compliance reviews, business continuity and crisis management planning and exercising, live crisis management activities, general IT audit activities, physical security design and operation, policy development, SCADA/DCS system implementation and security assessment.Active Certifications: CPP, CBCP, CISA, CISSP
