• Managed an integrated team of 10 professionals to deliver the front-end plans for a major offshore maintenance and refurbishment campaign. Ensuring that NZ’s largest gas source will continue reliably produce.
• Provided Hydrocarbon maturation plans for evaluation of LNG export options from New Zealand, leading to an exploration and infill plan with clear go/no-go decision points for weather to progress LNG options.
• Led the multidisciplinary work to update the asset reference plans for two STOS assets detailing future investment and production profiles. The need for infill projects was identified and scoped to ensure production.
• Coordinated resource planning to ensure that all projects are appropriately staffed while meeting the financial constraints imposed by the joint venture parties.
• Coordinated asset contributions to Shell group business planning.
• Facilitation of Decision review boards, opportunity framings, joint venture engagements etc..

• Provided the development planning for multiple new business opportunities across China taking the projects through from the initial data room through to drilling first appraisal wells.
• Coordinated the appraisal strategy for new exploration prospects determining decision points, data gathering plans, VOI, EMV etc..
• Worked with new ventures developing strategy for new opportunities for Shell in China.
• Conducted petrophysical estimates of multiple fields (rock properties, pore pressure predictions etc.)
• Identified new tight gas opportunities in the Changbei gas field leading to a major upgrading volumes.

Calgary, Canada Area

• Member of the Shell Unconventional Centre of Excellence acting as a petrophysics focal point for all of Shell’s unconventional assets. In this role gained a broad view of the critical elements for each of the different.
• Petrophysical studies and modeling for tight gas assets.
• Asset appraisal planning: creating the plan for all data acquisition in the asset including cores, micro seismic, logging and PLT’s
• Obtained extensive core across Shell’s Canadian tight gas assets to more accurately identify pay and fraccing targets.o Proposed new targets for completion, adding volumes to Deep basin wells
• Conducted graduate recruitment interviews as part of the recruitment team.

Greater Denver Area

• Worked on downspacing models to define the future development plans for Pinedale.
• Operations petrophysicist for a highly active and efficient unconventional asset coordinating 8 rigs, delivering a new well on average every 2 days.
• Provided input into the completion design of each well (up to 30 frac stages per well)
• Gathered and QC’d the data for input into an Integrated reservoir mode evaluating the impact of extreme down spacing.

• Developed probabilistic models to evaluate scope for recovery in tight gas reservoirs
• Conducted Petrophysical operations in a Basin centered gas system.
• Conducted field reevaluation of Shells Canadian Arctic assets.
