I am an Senior Engineer, working in Atkins' Infrastructure business as part of the Flood Risk team. I have gained experience in, hydraulic modelling, ( FM + Tuflow, and ICM), drafting topographical survey scopes, carring out Floor Risk Assessments (level 1-3), preparation of bids, GIS ( QGIS, ARCGis, and MapInfo) and project management I have worked on a number of projects that have involved, cross-sector, multidisciplinary and international collaboration. These projects have required to liaise with partners in Atkins' Geotechnical, Environmental and Engineering design teams both in the UK and with Atkins' Global Design Centre in India.I am a STEM ambassador and part of Academy9 - An inter-consultancy initiative that run STEM based activities bi-annually in schools up and down the A9 corridor. This aims to educate and inform the local pupils on STEM based activities, and give them an appreciation for the challenges required to be overcome that are associated with the A9 Dualling.
