Systems Engineering graduate from Loughborough University; my specialised project focused on renewable energy, specifically the ‘untapped’ potential of water energy, and creating an educational tool to inspire future innovation in this field.Current job role is Operations Manager at Benjamin Pimlico Pub Company Ltd., having helped grow the business from one pub to two pubs and a deli since taking the role.I am a member of the Board of Trustees for a local community arts charity, Charnwood Arts, which is a very rewarding role and enables me to grow toward my goal of being a pillar of my community. One of my most challenging achievements within this role was being a key member of the team overseeing the charity’s new website, and the development of our new branding. As well as my full time job role and work with Charnwood Arts, I am also a member of a local theatre group, performing several shows a year in venues such as Loughborough Town Hall and Mountsorell Memorial Centre. I am also helping produce a theatre project called All The World’s a Pub, which focusing on developing poetry and Shakespeare within community pubs across the country. I am an amateur play-write, board-game designer, and have a keen interest in local politics.My community is at the heart of my career and passions, and I am constantly developing new ways to support local businesses, such as organising the Loughborough Pub Trail, and community hall comedy nights.
