Work scope; Decommissioning the Derrick in preparation for removal. Isolating and proving circuits dead then removing. Relocating circuits that are to be kept. Mostly rope access averaging 6hrs per day on the ropes.

Overseeing a team of 10 on a data center in Israel. Utilizing the quieter hours to speed up progress. As i had no superior, all problems incurred had to solved and rectified under my instruction before the morning. It was a great opportunity for me to improve my executive decision making and leadership skills.

Assistant commissioner on gas insulated system at viking Kergord substation. Testing and commissioning earth switches, current transformers, voltage transformers, gauges and control panels. Using omicron cpc 100 test equipment.

Ml7 Data Center, Milan

Assisting all aspects of electrical installation for new build data center.

Garlogie Gas Compressor Station.

Installed new fire detection system, glanding and terminating SWA'S into atex rated equipment. Panel wiring to schedules and installation of intrinsically safe circuits.

Fort Augustus/ Tealing Substations

Installing cables to cable schedules. Installing, glanding and terminating current transformers, super grid transformers, earth switches, marshaling kiosks. Torquing to manufacturers specifications. connecting comms cabinets.

Servicing and stripping steam boilers of all sizes for NDT inspections, installed safety valves and control valves, crown head valves and steam traps.Conducting all steam trap surveys. Collaborating with clients for suitable times to carry out repairs and installations.Executing extensive fault finding and problem solving on steam systems. Designing and installing more efficient systems for the client.Proactively making recommendations on Health and Safety and the environment.Working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment with the ability to consistently meet deadlines with the highest quality whether working solo or as part of a team.Attending progress meetings, organizing work packs and liaising with other disciplines to enable a safe environment without detriment to productivity.
