Do it all Data Scientist with professional experience in Public Health Research, California Community College Institutional Research, and Lithium-Ion Battery Cell Manufacturing Analytics out of the Tesla Gigafactory in Sparks Nevada. For nearly 5 years, I have lead projects ranging from pure Data Engineering to Statistical Analysis and everything in between.In my current position working for Panasonic Energy of North America at the Tesla Gigafactory, I have provided Statistical Consulting to Quality Engineers to design A/B experiments resulting in reduction in operating costs, developed complex ETL data pipelines to enhance Business Intelligence products used by executives and engineers, develop/hosted anomaly detection systems to auto-extract lithium-ion battery defects off assembly lines.I am proficient with the majority of tools in the modern Data Scientist’s toolkit. I am fluent in Python, R, and SQL. I am experienced working with other programmers/analysts using Gitlab and CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, I am adept at developing Python libraries, developing R packages and maintaining good coding standards. I also have experience building ETL Pipelines and Anomaly Detection Systems in Apache Airflow. Further, I have an expert understanding of Statistical Inference, Distributions, Hypothesis Testing, Machine and Statistical Learning Algorithms and Statistical Process Control. On top of all that, I have many years of experience designing Business Intelligence Dashboards in Tableau.I am very passionate about data science and I demonstrate that passion and excitement in every working situation I am in. I love data science for the endless opportunity to solve complicated problems, learn new technical material, write code and apply scientific methodologies to find the signal in a sea of noisy data.
