Throughout my time at GenesisCare as the Senior Data Analyst leading the Analytics function within the Digital Solutions division, I was responsible for supporting the development of all applications and application features through product and customer analytics and insights. The projects I led and was responsible for include:-High level product metrics - This project came about due to a need I identified within the executive team to be able to monitor application performance across all streams in one central location. The development of this product involved the following; conducting requirements gathering workshops with executive stakeholders, development of wireframes for the dashboards and proposed metrics, working alongside the dev team to ensure we were able to capture all data points accurately and, finally the development and depployment of the dashboard in Tableau.-Patient distress levels - As part of the patient journey, we measure their distress levels at various points and note the patient's thoughts and feelings regarding this distress. This data has been incredibly useful in improving the patient experience as they receive care in our clinics. As part of this project, I lead the development of analytics to improve patient care to minimise patient distress throughout treatment. This analysis and its supporting findings were the subject of the "Implementation of a Systemic, Digital Oncology Workflow for Patient Distress Screening in a National, Multi-site Radiotherapy Outpatient Setting" paper submitted to and accepted by the American Society for Radiation Oncology.-Careplan creation process - One of the key questions we have been seeking the answer to is time spent by our doctors in various parts of the application, with the goal being to try and minimise this figure as much as possible through changes and improvements to workflows. This is an ongoing project involving the implementation of PostHog and the development of these insights.

The Workforce Insights team at the Queensland University of Technology drives and supports the wider use of data, the development of strategic reporting and insight based decision making at all levels and within all areas of the university. These areas of focus cover a broad range of activity and projects at the university including:-Self Service Reporting (ongoing): Work alongside clients from various areas of the university to establish new reports and update existing reports to meet a variety of needs and outcomes. These reports are developed/updated with the end user in mind to ensure that they can self-serve and run these reports with ease. Report development involves working in various tools including SQL, Universe Design Tool, Business Objects, Tableau and PowerBI. -Annual/Ad hoc reporting (ongoing): Within the Human Resources department, there are a number of reports that are run annually and require bespoke changes to suit various audiences including the Chancellery and Executive groups. Additional projects have also been run to develop more effective reporting mechanisms to support WGEA compliance and the upcoming Industrial Relations reforms for casual employees. -PowerBI Transition (ongoing): As part of a university initiative to transition all reporting from Business Objects to Power BI, existing HR reports have been prioritised for transition (based on frequency of use and the target audience of the report). -Repositioning Project (12 months): Due to the impacts of Covid-19 in 2020 it was decided that the university would reposition itself internally to drive savings. Management of the HR stream of this project involved working with all divisional and faculty areas of the university to determine the new hierarchical structure of the university in addition to the placement of employees within this new structure. This process had added complications of HCM limitations and downstream system integrations.
