Worked with full-time underwriting management and employees to learn the medical underwriting process as well as how to implement risk management analysis in everyday underwriting scenarios. Collaborated with fellow interns and Cigna underwriting upper management to complete an intern project encompassing Cigna’s Risk Management and Underwriting Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiative. Analyzed DEI survey results from interns and full-time employees by creating an excel dashboard, designed a DEI event for all Cigna Risk Management and Underwriting hubs to participate in, and created DEI focused websites for each Cigna RMUW hub to help with hub DEI realignment process.
