Head of all accounting operationsReport directly to the CFOPrepare accurate and timely financial statements (monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements and notes) and supporting financial informationPrepare and analyze supporting calculations and worksheets for complex transactions; keep and maintain schedules for asset purchase, depreciation and amortization, debt facilities, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, etcPerform payroll function including deductions calculation and remittanceUpdate cash flow forecast on a daily basis and communicate cash flow status to management on a timely basis; prepare variance analysis to budget and forecast; calculate weekly cash requests to satisfy upcoming expensesMeeting tax compliance including Annual Corporate Tax Filings, T4 summary and T4 slips; communicate to CRA regarding tax issuesPrepare working papers for annual audits, assist external auditors with completing the year endManage Payables and ReceivablesEnsure IFRS are being adhered to appropriately
