About Michael B.
I was born and raised in “small town” Ontario as a first generation Canadian born to Dutch parents. My first job started around the time I could walk….. on my parent’s goat farm. It was 4:30 AM wake ups and barn chores before hopping on the school bus for kindergarten with a thermos full of tea. I grew up always working in some capacity be it at the farm, in fast food and general labour positions until in high-school where I found my passion for television. With big Hollywood style dreams I applied to the Television Broadcasting course at Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario. 3 years after and diploma in hand my television career started. I’ve worked in many capacities within the industry with my most recent and current position landing me in Calgary, Alberta, and what a ride it has been! Over the last 8 years I've really found my passion for taking the initiative, identifying the teams’ strengths and mentoring others to use their skill set to help them succeed.
