I also serve as an expert witness in litigation involving meritorious bullying and harassment cases. I only take on clients whose programs and/or issues are consistent with my progressive values and my professional judgment that I can be helpful. I am particularly interested in working on issues related to social justice, human rights, discrimination, empowerment, and strength-based programming. I also am available to consult with potential clients about what can best be done to meet their needs, including referrals to my network of professional colleagues.

Oversaw the creation and development of programs in the areas of positive youth development and violence prevention, including the Essex County Family Justice Center (the only such center in NJ); the hospital-based intervention program at Cooper Hospital in Camden (GPS), the group-based perintal program (P-3) based in Newark, Paterson, and Camden; the Newark YouthMapping Program; Mentoring Children of Incarcerated Children; and others.

MST Program, funded by Essex County, 2003-2007 ($180,000 - $250,000 annually).• Principal Investigator: Mentoring Children of Prisoners, funded by US Department of Health and Human Services, $243,000 for each of 3 years and $100,000 from the Nicholson Foundation (2004-2007).• Principal Investigator: Peace: A Learned Solution (a mental health treatment and advocacy program for women victims of domestic violence and their children), Essex County, $450,000 annually commencing 12/1/05. • Principal Investigator: School-Based Youth Services program at Eastside High School, Paterson, NJ: Approximately $350,000, 2005 – 2007.
