Operated within Associated Bank’s Branch Banking department. Developed strong Microsoft Excel skills through updating reports relating to sales effectiveness, staffing efficiencies, and general business needs tracking. Leveraged Microsoft Excel to help understand:- Branch staffing needs- Banker sales productivity measures- Colleague turnover/termination - Teller transactions, branch activities, and customer behaviors- Colleague engagement- Colleague help desk requests- “Standard Operations Policies” handbook usage Aided business intelligence team by reviewing presentations and analyzing data from new third party benchmarking program, a project introduced to help improve Associated Bank’s sales effectiveness, and staffing efficiency. Sat in on team meetings and learned about predictive analytics to discuss key sales challenges such as new household acquisition, customer attrition, and branch staffing. Aside from daily office work, I shadowed various areas of the bank. I connected with and learned from colleagues in the Corporate Treasury, Finance, Digital Channels (ATM, Mobile/Online Banking), and Marketing departments. I also spent time learning about the daily sales, coaching, and management that goes on at a branch by traveling to Associated’s West Bend and Third Ward locations. This position taught me how to act in a professional environment. By spending time meeting with colleagues and learning about what they do, I acquired a good sense of how to ask thoughtful questions and build my career network. Working at Associated bank helped me sharpen my analytical skills, learn how to communicate effectively, improve my speed and efficiency in Excel, and enhanced my financial acumen.

This was an entrepreneurial studies internship. I met with ten entrepreneurs around Milwaukee and interviewed them. I learned about every entrepreneur's life story and kept note of common threads between them. Additionally, I kept track of recurring phrases, themes, and ideas that entrepreneurs discussed with me. In the end, I wrote a 40+ page paper culminating my studies.
