  • Premier Automation Llc
    Mechanical Engineer
Premier Automation Llc Nov 2023 - Present
I left the software space to reconnect with the physical realm. As a mechanical engineer, I prototype, design, buy, build, debug, ship, and install robotic cells that accomplish custom automation tasks.
  • Ansys
    Software Developer
    Ansys Apr 2020 - Nov 2023
    Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, United States
After being promoted from Software Tools Engineer to Software Developer, I began working mainly with the back end of Ansys Minerva and the Ansys Minerva installer. I wrote most of the Ansys Minerva installer which installs an enterprise app with various different services and 3rd party dependencies that can be installed across one or many machines. I have completed migrations to bring more customers from our old solution to Ansys Minerva. I have helped worked on our other back end services and have even fixed a front end bug every now and then.In April 2022 I was promoted to Software Developer II
  • Ansys, Inc.

Shipped themechatronics components to San Francisco where they would be attached to a permanent housing.
  • Ansys, Inc.
    Testing Engineering Co-Op
    Ansys, Inc. May 2017 - Aug 2018
    Canonsburg, Pa
I was an engineering testing co-op who completed three rotations at Ansys. My first rotation took place during the summer of 2017, my second rotation was spring of 2018, and my final rotation was summer 2018. During a typical day I used the engineering simulation technology, including finite element analysis (FEA) and created or debugged test scripts written in JavaScript and Python. I also maintained the scripts for our cluster machines, which are tested to make sure customers can solve mathematically intense problems. My most recent duties included using Visual Studio with Selenium Web Driver to create regression tests for our websites and creating new scripts to test new additive manufacturing features. My second rotation I took on a leadership role because I was the only experienced co-op of my group of four. The last two rotations I went from being the new co-op to showing co-ops how to logically work through our processes and procedures. It was a valuable learning experience where I obtained better management and team building skills.
  • Advanced Acoustic Concepts
    Quality Assurance Intern
Advanced Acoustic Concepts May 2016 - Aug 2016
    Lemont Furnace
After my second year at Penn State, Advance Acoustic Concepts offered me a promotion from the previous summer's internship. This year was much different, I worked with the quality assurance engineers performing various tasks. My first duty was to research, document, and make a decision matrix about what coordinate measuring machine to purchase. After that I checked sub assemblies and main assemblies, first with a quality engineer and then by myself. Some of these ranged from wire cables to sonar cabinets to power distribution units. I copy, filed, and filled out the necessary paper work and worked with Microsoft Excel. I also helped with calibration making my own PowerPoint explaining which tools had passed and why. Finally I would help anywhere that needed assistance.
  • Advanced Acoustic Concepts
    Production Intern
Advanced Acoustic Concepts Jun 2015 - Aug 2015
    Lemont Furnace
This was my first internship after my freshman year of college. I worked in a team to produce power amplifications devices. These devices amplified the power of the ping in the sonar system enabling the main computer to read the signals. We worked as a team to monitored our production rate part and our part quantity. The team would also fix defective power amps that did not pass a battery of tests. I was also periodically assigned to the wire team to test and build wire cables. It was a valuable experience where I learned much about team work.
  • West Newton Community Pool

I worked for my school's local soccer league. I would referee a variety of age groups ranging from preschoolers to young adults. I learned much about controlling the crowd and being a leader. I learned not to let the crowd upset me or influence my decisions. I came out of this experience more confident in myself.
