The Regional Educational Learning Initiative (RELI) is an education-focused network of more than 70 organizations across East Africa that runs initiatives focused on engaging policy, transforming organizations, and creating evidence in education-focused initiatives. The main goal of this project is to develop contextualized assessment tools, focusing on 4 competencies for teenagers aged 14-17 i.e., Respect, Self-Awareness, Collaboration and Problem-Solving across East Africa (Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda).

Main Role: Strathmore University aims to make service to society a way of life through championing and ensuring that all university stakeholders get involved in sustainable community outreach.Accomplishments: ● Successfully initiated and facilitated post-covid psychosocial support for 252 teachers and 150 non-teaching staff in 10 schools in Kitui (Centers of Excellence Project)● Successfully facilitating and managing scholarships of 460 scholars, amounting $100,000 annually, across Kenya● Successfully coordinating the mentoring and training on life skills of 5,000 high school students in Kitui, Kenya; 8 out of the 10 schools reported improved academic performance, while the mixed schools reported reduced cases of pregnancies● Successfully supported an ex-inmate to finish his degree in Bachelor of Commerce, while 5 more are studying in prison● Co-facilitated the first Kenyan Sign Language classes at Strathmore University● Coordinated the training of 75 girls to learn self-defence led by the Karate Club (Followed the death of a young girl from one of our partner schools during the holidays)

Main Accomplishments:  Co-founded the Staff giving campaign, raising $500 monthly for vulnerable students in Strathmore University Inspired 254 international and 800 local volunteers towards the implementation of more than 240 outreach activities costing more than $510,000 Facilitated the adoption 3 projects focusing on 20 teenage mothers, rehabilitation of 100 street boys, and 60 abandoned babies annually as long-term projects; to date more than $50,000 has been invested in these projects Coordinated 10 blood transfusion events, engaging more than 1,500 donors who donated +750 litres of blood  Co-established the Karibu Sana Fund with a donor partner from Spain, starting with 16 scholars

● Led a team of 46 volunteers in fundraising $20,000 to support families in Turkana suffering from the 2011 famine● Fundraised for annual supply of sanitary pads worth $10,000 for 365 female students in Turkana Girls High School● Co-created a student for student fund, which raises money through student contributions. To date, more than 50 students have been supported, with the fund raising more than $15,000● Strengthened a team of +100 dedicated volunteers to foster continuity of community projects● Expanded our social media platforms to maintain relationships with alumni; we have +2,800 members to date

I analyzed customer issues, provided solutions to serve customers better, updated history records, investigated complaints, trained customer service staff, and maintained customer databases.Key Contributions:• Maintained a good business relationship between the bank and its wide business customers.• Assisted in the processing of cheques from the 46 Barclays Bank branches in Kenya.• Worked with the bank's legal department to provide supporting document for any law suits.• Professionally handled incoming requests from customers and ensured that issues were resolved both promptly and thoroughly.• Efficiently gathered customer information, access and fulfilled customer needs.• Developed and implemented improvement plans and strategized on enhancing client satisfaction and gaining loyalty hence managing 100% client retention.• Coordinated systems training while creating awareness on adherence to service level process.• Streamlined workflow procedures between shipping and clearance departments• Monitored of service delivery and performance from 3rd party service providers.My Accomplishments.🏆 Reduced customer complaints by 60% through escalated grievance handling and turnaround system.
