I worked with this family owned yacht repair yard (former operated by Palmer Johnson) to establish TMI as a dominant middle market yacht facility. The challenge for me was to organize and structure planning and sales effort to maximize repair efficiency within a conservatively orientated group. Work with President to outline capital improvement plans to increase yard capacity up to 60-meter yachts.

Hired to proactively increase sales leads by means of soliciting yacht captains and managers directly. Made contact with brokerage groups to relay facility capabilities and distribute literature and information on the Rybovich construction line. Made transition with H. As a new company was established in the spring of 1999, I became responsible for the repair and refit work in its entirety, from issuance of proposals to formulation of contracts including oversight of the Project Management team. My first position was Spars & Rigging foreman handling a shop of 6 individuals. Promoted in 1994 to one of four project managers, who acted as liaison between the company and a particular yacht to coordinate and monitor the progress of all trades while meeting the needs of the crew. Yachts under my supervision ranged from 80 to 190 feet and grossed monies for individual projects from $100,000 to $5,000,000.

As a liaison between our engineering and the various syndicates, I was involved with production, quality control, design modifications and the installation of products. Consultant work for Concorde yachts while building hull #1. In anticipation of joining the boat in Thailand, I investigated regulations and specs for Concorde for registering a vessel in the UK.
