− Served as cab line manufacturing engineer with experience in PFMEA’s, work instruction creation in Creo, production line layout in CAD, waste removal, 5S, tooling design, product launch, and process simulations − Served on a two-year project team (STRIPE) to replace legacy applications. I was the process solution key user for applications including the Factory Control System, Execution Control System, and Virtual Device. The STRIPE project resulted in process improvements including deployment of on-screen work instructions, torque device control, PLC integrations, and work process traceability to over 300 operators in Final Assembly − Served as Local Technology Specialist for Virtual Manufacturing (VM). Assembled and led a team of 5 engineers to rollout VM initiatives, which include ergonomic and process evaluations.; established virtual prestudy requirement for all industrial projects.

On R&D team to design custom side-by-side and single seat off road buggies using SolidWorks Racing truck mechanic and designer for Stadium Super Truck and other off road racing series - MIG/TIG welding - Sheet metal fabrication including cutting, grinding and polishing - Techni Water Jet and Plasma Cutter programming for sheet metal parts - Specialized tools and techniques for overcoming design challenges I designed and fabricated a new sheet metal roof for the RPM Rock Crawler racing truck as well as MIG welded and fixed problem areas in the chassis and mounting hardware for custom single seat buggy. I was able to program the Technic waterjet and plasma cutting tables for sheet metal components on the trucks. My summer at Robby Gordon Motorsports taught me how to bridge the gap between designing and fabricating custom designed components.

- Researched strength and failure modes in proprietary composite materials using strain gauges and an Instron load cell - Used finite element modelling software (CATIA V5 and Nastran) to conduct an analysis on a steel mandrel for a JSF radome - Designed testing brackets and clevis system for in-plane-shear analysis in Instron load cell for specialized composite materials - Analyzed the composite layup for the C-130 radome to ensure correlation with ANSI standards and to reduce cost and time - Designed positioning cart for autoclave curing of composite radome in order to cure multiple radomes at once

- Revised engineering drawings in Solid Edge of transformer assemblies and sub-components- Revamped the transformer and switchgear labeling system for a more inclusive design- Worked with floor workers to correlate designs with the engineers
