I am a skilled professional with experience in customer service, management, strategic planning, and office administration. My education consists of an Associates of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a marketing concentration. Through my time in school, I worked with numerous local small businesses in bolstering their online presence and marketing strategies. After I finished my education, I stayed to help a local laundromat strengthen their community presence both in local media and with local partners. For the past 3 years I have worked for a Brooklyn based State Farm agency that focuses on commercial insurance and financial products. I like working with smaller businesses and finding ways to minimize the headaches and risks of running a business while helping to reduce the overhead as much as I can.My skills are diverse which enables me to excel in many areas of work, especially when it comes to technology. In my professional experience, I have utilized everything from CRM software, like Salesforce, to payroll software, such as ADP. I have a deep understanding of both Microsoft Office and Google Drive. I received certifications in advertising tools like Google AdWords and have also worked with social media advertising on sites like Instagram and Twitter. Even though I am very skilled behind a computer, I utilize real world skills as well. I am very equipped for interpersonal interaction, whether it is with coworkers or customers. While I love working with technology, I also enjoy meeting others and utilizing the customer service skills I have honed through the years. I tend to be the go-to person for deescalating an issue by simply talking it out. I truly enjoy working with others but also work well alone under time constraints.
