Extensive expertise in the development and interpretation of biophysical assays to quantitate molecular interactions. Developed a nanoparticle-based bioassay for label- and power-free detection of membrane protein-ligand interactions in primary neuronal cells and membrane-anchored species. Built and modified a backscattering interferometry (BSI) instrument for use in the Finn lab, with de-novo engineered, automated, high-throughput capability. Adapted BSI for efficient, specific evaluation of molecular interactions in both simple and complex systems. Coordinated multiple internal and external efforts (CRO) to establish novel methods for small molecule (RNA, protein and and PROTAC) discovery and validation efforts.
